As part of our Sustainability Energy team, you will support energy suppliers, industrial clients and public sector companies in complying with regulatory requirements, obtaining energy subsidies and in the concrete implementation of the energy transformation, thus making a significant contribution to society. Together with your colleagues, you advise our clients on issues such as ESG reporting, electromobility and charging infrastructure as well as data analysis and continuously develop your skills in the process.
We are looking for you to join our Sustainability and Energy Efficiency division as a Senior Consultant Climate Protection and Energy Consulting (f/m/d), also available as a freelancer, as soon as possible.
What awaits you
Consultancy function – You will advise our clients from the energy sector, the public sector and companies from industry, trade and services. The focus is on strategies for the challenges surrounding energy, climate protection, decarbonisation, efficiency and the energy industry.
Strategies – Your focus will be on advising clients in the public sector as well as companies in the energy sector and industry. Your tasks will include, for example, developing solutions for the energy and heating transition at federal, state and local level, (further) developing business models for municipal utilities and designing sustainable energy generation and efficient energy use for companies.
Responsibility – As a career starter, we will introduce you to the topics in a targeted manner and you will quickly take on responsibility for specific project content. You will work in interdisciplinary project teams, support the acquisition of new projects and business development for climate protection and energy. As a newcomer: with 2 – 4 years of relevant professional experience, you are welcome to apply as a Senior Consultant.
What you bring with you
– You have a degree in (industrial) engineering, civil engineering, energy technology, economics or a comparable degree programme, preferably with an economic or technical orientation.
– You are interested in one or more of the following topics: Energy markets, climate protection in the public sector, sustainability and decarbonisation for companies, energy efficiency, ESG for municipal utilities and the housing and real estate sector, heat transition and planning for districts and municipalities, business models for energy supply companies and municipal utilities.
– Ideally, you have already gained experience in the energy industry or consulting, e.g. in internships during your studies, working student activities or initial professional activities.
– Confident communication skills in German and English (written and spoken) and the confident use of MS Office applications round off your profile.
